Lily O’Brien’s is one of Ireland’s best-loved premium chocolatiers. Based in Newbridge Co. Kildare, the company started life in 1992 as the brainchild of Mary Ann O’Brien. With little more than a wooden spoon, two saucepans and a unique passion for chocolate Mary Ann began making mouth-watering chocolates from her kitchen and quickly gained a worthy reputation as a wonderful chocolatier and budding entrepreneur. Within 12 months she had secured her first contract and named her new business after her eldest daughter, Lily, who was just a toddler at the time.
More than two decades on, Lily O’Brien’s has become a truly global brand boasting an ever-expanding repertoire of over 240 different chocolate recipes. Im no stranger to lily obriens very nice chocolate 1 point deducted though but thats purely me who prefers plain chocolate with no biscuit or other flavour in it.
