Dr. Oetker Cake Release Spray
Dr. Oetker Cake Release Spray is an oil spray used by professional bakers which eliminates the need for greasing or lining tins and trays before pouring in your mixture. Cake Release Spray is great for using on large or irregular shaped tins, helping you to achieve perfect baking results. It has been developed specifically for home baking use and is a store cupboard essential.
Cake Release can be quickly, lightly and evenly sprayed over any sized baking tin or tray and allows the easy release of your cakes from the tin after cooking.
To use, shake the can well and spray lightly and evenly over base and sides of your bakeware before pouring in your mixture. Cake Release Spray is suitable for all kinds of baking tins, including silicone.
Each can contains 125ml, sufficient to grease up to 30 x 20cm (8 inch) round cake tins.

Yes it works, but it is just for greasing baking tins, rubbing butter or oil is just as good.

Absolute wonder product, been using a similar product to this that comes as a liquid but a spray is so much easier! very happy with this!

Was abit unsure of this when it arrived. but having used it today, i have to say its amazing!! i bake between 1-2 cakes a week, & always have to have a good dig around with a knife to get them loose. with this the knife went smoothly around the edge of the tin, & only had to tap the bottom a couple of times. cake came out in one piece looking fab!! will definitely be buying this in future.
