Crobar Natural Energy Bar

Crobar by Gathr is a revolutionary natural energy bar, containing cricket flour, as well as nuts, seeds and fruit. Crobar is gluten- and dairy free, free from added sugar, as well as Paleo friendly. The two flavours are Cacao as well as Peanut. Crickets are not only high in protein, they contain high levels of iron and all essential amino acids. Crickets could be the answer to the ever- increasing and enormous protein demands of the future, as they emit 80 x less Co2 than cattle, require 12 x less water and significantly less land. If we continue to eat as much meat as we do now, we will need another planet by 2050, and insects present an alternative protein source with huge health and environmental benefits. Cacao & Cricket Flour: Who doesn’t love the flavour of chocolate? The first Crobar combines dates, cashews, goji berries, chia seeds and of course cricket flour, in a delicious combination of goodness. High in fiber and filled with antioxidants as well as healthy omega 3 fatty acids, this bar is an instant crowd pleaser, perfect for pre and post workouts. Peanut & Cricket Flour: Crunchy and delicious pieces of peanuts form the essence of this bar, perfect for anyone who loves nuts. Mixed in are sunflower seeds and of course cricket flour, which are loaded with antioxidants and bone- healthy minerals. This bar is packed with Vitamin E, and great as a snack before or after exercise.

Tried this product before realising it was cricket flour, do that has no baring in the review. expected it o taste like similar branded products - this was disgusting. had a sweaty-sour taste. no one in our family liked it. being a lizard owner i can say it tastes exactly how the crickets smell - absolutely disgusting. massively overpriced too.
